The name Duplo has been long connected with childhood and children's toys. It's yet another stimulating, reliable and robust addition to the Lego stable and is not only visually interesting but also great for improving kids' gross and fine motor skills. Wikipedia tells me that the name has come and gone a bit over the years since it first appeared on the toy shelf in 1969. Back then, the bricks were available in just four colours ... red, yellow, blue and white. How things have changed ! It certainly looks as though Lego have a real thoroughbred on their hands that will continue to stand the test of time for many years to come. There's Knights for the boys and Duplo Princess Castles and Princess Stables for girls. Farms and animals appeal to all children and construction toys are great for firing kids' imaginations. Duplo Dinosaurs (Dino) are a great addition to the Duplo range along with the fearsome pirates. © www.toy-shelf.co.uk 2007-08 Home Contact Us About Us Disclaimer Caveat emptor ....
