REMEMBER ..... SAFETY FIRST ! Never ever leave children unattended in or near water. Always make sure there is a competent adult in charge. Always follow the safety instructions that come with the swimming pools or paddling pools. Don't take chances.
In my experience there are four main phases involved with the purchase and use of a family swimming pool.
Firstly, there's the mad impulse to buy one. This usually happens on the first sunny day of the year when we become convinced that the weather will stay hot until November.
Secondly, there's the frustration as your kids have to stand and wait for it to be inflated and filled-up with water. Best to get a head start on that !
Thirdly, there's the blood-curdling screams as children immerse themselves in icy cold water and you seriously consider buying a heated swimming pool next time.
Lastly, and best of all, you and your family get to enjoy hours and hours of watery fun. So whether you're after a steel-framed pool, an easy-set or fast-set, or some great water toys like the Toypedo, the shops above can help.
